Community guidelines

VoiceChatMate works best when users treat each other with respect. These guidelines describe behavior we allow, behavior we prohibit, and how harassment and privacy violations are viewed.

Acceptable behavior

  • Be polite and honest about your intentions in a conversation.
  • Respect “no” and stop pressing for photos, contact info, or platform moves when someone declines.
  • Use features as intended: random chat in the selected mode, without trying to break or overload the service.
  • Report serious issues after you have secured your own safety (see report abuse).

Prohibited behavior

  • Harassment, hate, slurs, or targeted abuse toward individuals or groups.
  • Sexual content involving minors, or sexual pressure against someone’s consent.
  • Sharing or threatening to share someone’s private information (doxxing).
  • Spam, bots, phishing, malware links, or fraud (including crypto or romance scams).
  • Illegal activity, including solicitation of illegal goods or services.
  • Attempts to circumvent bans, evade moderation, or attack the infrastructure.

Harassment and abuse boundaries

Persistent insults, threats, stalking-style behavior, or coercion are not allowed—even in “joke” form. If you are on the receiving end, disconnect first. You can read safety and moderation for how the platform thinks about follow-up.

Privacy-respecting behavior

Do not pressure others to reveal identity, location, workplace, or school. Do not record or screenshot others without permission where laws or norms apply. Our privacy overview explains how we think about data; your behavior toward other users should still minimize harm.
