If someone behaves badly on VoiceChatMate, your first priority is your own safety. This page describes practical steps, what reporting is for, and what to include when the product supports reports—without promising tools that are not wired up in the UI.

Step one: protect yourself

Disconnect immediately from any match who threatens you, pressures you for money or intimate content, or makes you uncomfortable. Close the tab if needed. If you are in physical danger or need emergency help, contact local emergency services—not a chat platform.

How reporting fits in

VoiceChatMate may record reports linked to specific chat activity for moderator review (for example, reports tied to messages where the product exposes that flow). Reporting helps prioritize serious cases; it does not guarantee a specific outcome or response time. For background, read moderation.

What to include when you report

When an in-app or product-specific report asks for details, keep them factual and concise:

  • What happened (e.g., harassment, threats, spam, sexual coercion).
  • Approximately when it occurred, if you know.
  • Whether media or links were involved (describe the type—do not re-share illegal content).

Do not paste passwords, full government IDs, or unnecessary personal data into reports. Less sensitive detail is better.

If there is no visible report button

Product surfaces change over time. If you do not see a report control, you can still disconnect, block further contact by leaving the session, and review community guidelines and safety for next steps. Avoid chasing the same user across sessions.

After you report

Continue to protect your own information. See privacy for how data may be processed and FAQ for common questions.

When you are ready to chat again

You can leave any conversation

No match is entitled to your time or personal information.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do first if someone bothers me?

Disconnect immediately. You do not owe strangers your time. After you are safe, you can use reporting paths if they are available.

Will someone respond to my report right away?

Review timing depends on volume and severity. Reporting helps the platform prioritize issues; it is not a substitute for emergency services.

Should I share my phone number or ID to prove abuse?

No. Do not share extra personal information with strangers or in reports beyond what the product asks for.
